Shamanic Counseling

Many people have had intuitions, hunches, or moments of connection to spirit that were very empowering and perhaps life changing. For most, these moments seem to happen primarily at random and could not be depended on consistently. However, a method exists to create a consistent and safe way to access spirit which many are using as a positive healing force for recovery. This method is shamanic counseling, a spiritual form of counseling that follows the methods of shamanism. Shamanism is an ancient strategy for contacting and utilizing an ordinarily hidden reality to acquire knowledge and healing for one’s self and others. Shamanic counseling is a system developed to help clients solve life problems and become personally empowered.

This method involves the client journeying to the drumming cd, the client narrates their journey which is recorded on tape for review later. The counsellor helps the client formulate the intention for the journey and later works with the client to help them understand their experience.

REIKI

Reiki is a gentle hands on, non manipulative energy therapy. The healer work on the client’s aura or energy field, gently releasing “blocks” which may form there causing physical, mental or emotional ailments. These ancient therapies, which have comparatively recently become generally available here, bring balance on all levels of a client’s being.

I may also use essential crystals to further enhance the treatment and its effects.

During the treatment the client may feel a variety of relaxing sensations including heat, gentle pressure or tingling.

As with all energy therapies the results are diverse. Sometimes the client will experience a marked improvement in a physical condition at other times there will be a change in outlook or a release of stress.

CRYSTAL HEALING

Crystal healing is an holistic, non-invasive, vibrational energy based system of healing. It treats the whole person it promotes healing in all areas of our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual selves. It is a safe and gentle way of releasing energy blockages that can cause imbalance and disease in the body. The technique uses precisely placed crystals either on or around the physical body. Crystals may also be laid in precise geometric patterns within the environment. Crystals absorb, focus, direct, detoxify and diffuse energy as they interact with the subtle vibrations within the human energy field. It is therapeutic and deeply relaxing.

What you may feel after the session:
The effects of the session may continue to integrate for up to several days following the treatment. During this time you may feel energized, light, focused, tired, unsettled, or somehow have a sense of being in transition. Thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations may continue to surface as your body adjusts to its new energetic patterns. All of these experiences are good and normal parts of the integration process. Be sure to rest, drink extra water, and be kind to yourself, especially over the next 48 hours. Listen to what your body is telling you and take time to reflect on any experiences or insights that arise.
